Velvet
Through the haunting voices of Ludie and her offspring, Velvet explores the common, yet tragic misunderstandings between generations of African American women. Most importantly, she was finally able to hear her own mother’s voice and understand that it was her life, not her reasoning, that was flawed. Velvet's series of vignettes chronicle poignant conversations and pivotal moments in the lives of four generations of women, all connected by blood, circumstance and the common tug-of-war that is mother/daughter.

Just Breathe is a romantic series following two Minneapolis protestors on a quest for social justice after the murder of George Floyd. Despite the looming threat of retaliation from law enforcement and a menacing global virus, in one night, perfect strangers Johnathan and Lakeisha find new hope for Black life and Black love.
